Analyst
Her career began in 1987 with Finbancaria, a corporate finance boutique in Milan. In 1988 she joined the private & merchant bank Banque Hottinguer in Paris, and then Credit Lyonnais Laing in London.
In Laing's equity research department she trained with the Building Materials & Construction, and Electronics teams before being appointed Food Manufacturing analyst. She built a Food Manufacturing team and its Extel rating, pioneering research techniques previously used in corporate finance and management consultancy, and introducing them to the European (Paris, Milan, Amsterdam and Madrid) counterparts of the team of seven.
In 1995 she left to study modern languages and ancient civilizations. In 1996 she joined the IMAX film crew of Amazon which was nominated for an Academy Award in 1998. Between 1996 and 2007 she worked as a photographer (publishers include National Geographic), photojournalist and filmmaker specialising in the IMAX format. She most recently wrote and produced Mummies 3D: Secrets of the Pharaohs, which is now showing on IMAX and 3D digital cinema screens around the world.
Arabella returned to finance in August 2008 when she joined Culross as Fund Research Analyst. Arabella is a British national, and speaks French, some Spanish and Italian.
