He began his career in 1988 when he joined BP in their new ventures division as accountant, after qualifying as an accountant. He then joined Century Asset Management Limited, a global fixed income specialist, as Financial Controller before moving on to General Re Financial Products, a long term derivatives principal trading firm, in the same role.

In 1996, he joined Threadneedle Asset Management, initially to establish their Indian mutual fund company then returning to London, to project manage their SAP implementation. On successful completion of the project, he moved on to establish 3 single manager hedge fund business under the infamous Crescendo brand raising over USD1bn. He then joined FRM, well renowned fund of hedge fund business, initially in their finance department then on to business development area working across all departments to deliver new products and client solutions.

In 2006, he joined Pioneer Alternative Investments, a USD6bn fund of hedge fund and single manager hedge fund, as Head of Product Development on the alternative side.

Hitesh joined Culross in May 2008 as Chief Operating Officer.

Hitesh is a British national. He was educated at The City University, graduating with BSc (Econ). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
